The ratings are as follows:
- 98-100: Exceptional – A wonderful, incredibly complex and memorable wine.
- 95-97: Outstanding – An excellent wine of great complexity and character.
- 90-94: Highly Recommended – Very good wine with impressive complexity.
- 85-89: Recommended – Very well-made, balanced and enjoyable.
- 80-84: Decent – Well-made, straightforward wine.
- 75-79: Fair – Without fault but contains limited personality.
- 70-74: Poor – Unbalanced or bland with limited character.
- < 70: Faulty – Displays faults. Do not drink.
